Dr. Haley brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the biotechnology and life sciences industries, underscoring Leinco’s unwavering commitment to innovation, growth, and providing best-in-class products and services to our global partners.
Dr. Haley is a seasoned business leader, scientific collaborator, and strategist with a proven track record of driving transformative growth and innovation. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional cross-functional commercial expertise and an ability to foster high-performing teams that deliver measurable results. His leadership style is characterized by a unique blend of scientific insight and business acumen, positioning him to advance Leinco’s strategic objectives and further solidify our position as a trusted partner in the life sciences industry.
Dr. Haley most recently served as Vice President for the Americas at Immudex, where he spearheaded the U.S. launch and rapid growth of the company, transforming it into a multimillion-dollar enterprise. Under his leadership, Immudex introduced cutting-edge immune monitoring technologies that advanced research in oncology, immunotherapy, transplantation, infectious disease, and autoimmunity. Notably, Dr. Haley successfully cultivated partnerships with leading organizations such as 10X Genomics and BD, paving the way for impactful co-development and licensing opportunities.
Prior to his tenure at Immudex, Dr. Haley held key roles at Beckman Coulter, where he managed innovative immune monitoring solutions, including MHC Tetramers and the iTopia™ Epitope Discovery System. His early scientific career included influential work at NYU and the Dodson
Institute for Immunotherapy, focusing on flow cytometry, stem cell characterization, and translational immunotherapy research.
Dr. Haley’s contributions extend beyond his professional achievements. He has been an active member of the scientific community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Translational Cancer Center Consortium and contributing his expertise as a member of the IEDB Expert Committee. He also holds leadership experience in his local community, reflecting his dedication to collaboration and service in all areas of his life.
Stephen earned his PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and a BS in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University. He completed his post-doctoral research at the University of Miami’s Lee Lab, where he deepened his expertise in immunology and translational research.
