Country of Origin USA Shipping Next Day Ambient Excitation Laser Blue Laser (490 nm) RRIDAB_2829010 Applications and Recommended Usage? Quality Tested by Leinco FC The suggested concentration for this F11 antibody for staining cells in flow cytometry is ≤ 1 μg per 106 cells in a volume of 100 μl or 100μl of whole blood. Titration of the reagent is recommended for optimal performance for each application. Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype. Anti-Human CD61 recognizes the (Mr 110 kDa) common Beta-subunit of the gp IIb/IIIa complex and the vitronectin receptor (VNR). The gp IIb (CD41) antigen and the gp IIIa (CD61) antigen form the cell adhesion complex (gp IIb/IIIa) which is the receptor on platelets for fibrinogen, von Willebrand factor, fibronectin and vitronectin. Background Anti-CD61-Fluorescein may be used to identify platelets and megakaryocytes. It may also be used in studies to characterize leukemias and in research of cell adhesion molecules. Antigen Distribution The CD61 antigen is present on virtually all resting and activated platelets. The antigen is also known to be present on endothelial cell, megakaryocytes and some leukemias of myeloid, erythroid and lymphoid origin.
