This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype. Antigen Distribution The CDw60 antigen is present on gangliosides, platelets and a subset of CD4+, CD8+ peripheral T-cells, but not on B-cells, monocytes or granulocytes. CDw60 is involved in the co-stimulation of T-cells. The antigen is also detectable in some previously undescribed benign and malignant tumors. CDw60 shows different subcellular distribution patterns.
