Bordetella pertussis is a Gram-negative, encapsulated coccobacillus of the genus Bordetella, and the causative agent of pertussis or whooping cough.

Liquid

Glycine buffer at alkaline pH.

Bordetella pertussis bacteria are harvested from broth culture, washed and inactivated by treatment with Beta-propiolactone. The antigen is presented in glycine buffer at alkaline pH.

Store at -65°C or lower. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Sonicate before use. 10 years from date of manufacture (under recommended storage conditions).
