Human Parainfluenza Viruses are a group of four viruses belonging to the Paramyxoviridae family and they can cause severe respiratory infections in immune suppressed people.

Tris/NaCl buffer at pH 7.4.

Parainfluenza Virus Type 1 (strain Sendai) is cultivated in cell culture (Vero or MDCK cells) and purified by extraction in combination with chromatography. All antigens are suitable for the detection of IgG and IgA antibodies against Parainfluenza.

Store at -65°C or lower. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Sonicate before use. 10 years from date of manufacture (under recommended storage conditions).
