Recombinant Human SCGF-α

Stem Cell Growth Factor alpha (SCGF-alpha) is a hematopoietic growth factors that exerts its activity at the early stages of hematopoiesis and can support growth of primitive hematopoietic cells.

The biological activity of Human Stem Cell Growth Factor-Alpha is determined by its inhibitory effect on the proliferation of TF-1 cells previously grown in media containing GM-CSF. The ED₅₀ for this effect was observed at 2.5 ng/mI.

The lyophilized protein should be stored desiccated at -20°C. The reconstituted protein can be stored for at least one week at 4°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted protein, aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
